Singer Christina Grimmie, who starred in NBC's "The Voice," died early Saturday after a gunman shot her following a performance in Florida, authorities said.

A man armed with two guns walked up to the 22-year-old singer as she was signing autographs late Friday night and opened fire, Orlando Police spokeswoman Wanda Ford said.

The gunman fatally shot himself after Grimmie's brother tackled him, according to authorities."Her brother is a hero for saving and stopping him from not hurting anyone else," Ford said.

The singer had performed at The Plaza Live theater Friday night, along with the band Before You Exit, when the shooting broke out. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition and died a few hours later.

To reduce this problem first we need to know how this disease occurs because if you know the reasons you will adopt the prevention methods before you are suffered from this.

Why this happens?
When we breathe the air that we inhale goes to the lungs. While inhaling the respiratory tract gets narrow and inside the lungs and the trachea is divided into many branches.

If we have asthma the internal part of the respiratory tract is swollen and when we do the hard work or the dust smoke the respiratory tract gets into more pressure. The thick layer of cough gets stucked inside that will cause the breathing problem. If this condition is increased than we will have the Asthma Attack and we need to go to hospital immediately.

How to recognize that you are suffered from Asthma?

1. Ginger
Ginger is one of the natural herbs that prevents from the dangerous disease like asthma. According to the specialist this will relax the respiratory tract and helps in exhaling and inhaling the air.

Mix ginger juice, pomegranate juice and honey in same amount. If you eat this 3 times a day than you will get some improvement. Even if the dry ginger powder is mixed with hot water and drink it one times a day you might get relief from asthma.

If 1 inch ginger is mixed with the water and boiled it for 10 minutes and if you drink this you will get relief from this problems. You can eat the raw ginger with salt as well.

2. Mustard Oil
When suffering from asthma massage with the mustard oil that will open the respiratory tract and it won’t give you the problem while breathing. Heat the oil and Camphor powder and cool it and after it gets little cold than massage it on your chest and backbone.

3. Garlic
Garlic reduces the pressure in the lungs that you have during asthma.  Add 2/3 piece of garlic in one cup milk and warm it. After that make it cool and drink.

4. Coffee
Drinking coffee is very beneficial. The caffeine that is found in the coffee relax the respiratory tract and it will be easy to breathe. The more strong is the coffee it is more beneficial. But don’t drink the coffee more than 3 times a day. If you don’t like coffee you can drink black tea. But every-time you get attack don’t drink the coffee.

5. Onions
Onion has the power to prevent the burns that will reduce the problem that is happening in the respiratory tract. Similarly the sulphur that is present in the onion will relax the respiratory tract. When the asthma attacks eat the raw onions. If you don’t like the raw onion than you can steam it and eat.

6. Lemon
The infected people has the less amount of vitamin c. Lemon contains vitamin c and antioxidant that will reduce the symptoms of asthma in some time. In the morning add lemon in the warm water and according to your taste add the sugar and drink it. This will reduce the probability of the asthma attack.

An Indian woman who gave birth at the age of 70 said Tuesday she was not too old to become a first-time mother, adding that her life was now complete.

Daljinder Kaur gave birth last month to a boy following two years of IVF treatment at a fertility clinic in the northern state of Haryana with her 79-year-old husband.

Kaur said the couple, married for 46 years, had almost lost hope of ever having a child and had faced ridicule in a country where infertility is sometimes seen as a curse from God.

"God heard our prayers. My life feels complete now. I am looking after the baby all by myself, I feel so full of energy. My husband is also very caring and helps me as much as he can," Kaur told AFP from the northern city of Amritsar.

"When we saw the (IVF) advert, we thought we should also give it a try as I badly wanted to have a baby of my own," she said.

Kaur put her age at about 70, a common scenario in India where many people don't have birth certificates, while the clinic said in a statement that she was 72.

The baby was conceived using the couple's own egg and sperm and was now "healthy and hearty" after weighing just two kilogrammes (4.4 pounds) at birth on April 19, the National Fertility and Test Tube centre said.

Kaur's husband, Mohinder Singh Gill, who owns a farm outside Amritsar, said he was unfazed about their age, saying God would watch over their child whom they named Armaan.

"People say what will happen to the child once we die. But I have full faith in God. God is omnipotent and omnipresent, he will take care of everything," he told AFP.

Anurag Bishnoi, who runs the fertility clinic, said he was initially sceptical about going ahead with in vitro fertilisation (IVF), but tests showed Kaur was able to carry the unborn baby.

"I first tried to avoid the case because she looked very frail. Then we made her undergo all the tests and once all the results were okay we went ahead," the doctor told AFP.

The case is not the first in India, with a 72-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh state reportedly giving birth to twins in 2008, also through IVF.

Next year Barcelona will be the turnaround port for the world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s the Allure of the Seas, a vessel measuring 361 metres in length with a capacity for 6,318 people (equal to the entire population of the Catalan village of Tremp).

This Oasis-class cruise ship, the sister of the Oasis of the Seas (which this year will also visit the Catalan capital) will set sail 25 times from Barcelona. This will be the first time that this cruise ship has visited Europe – up to now she has cruised exclusively around the Caribbean from her base in Port Lauderdale. 158,000 passengers will visit the Port of Barcelona on board the Allure of the Seas, and they will spend 17.5 million EUR in the city. The operations will be performed simultaneously via Terminals B and C, to ensure maximum comfort and speed.

“The choice of Barcelona as a base for the Allure of the Seas for the entire 2015 season is a challenge for the large scale of operations that the ship will be making, but it also helps to consolidate Barcelona as the leader in the European and Mediterranean cruise sector” said Sixte Cambra, president of Barcelona Port Authority.

At a joint press conference, Belén Wangüemert, CEO of Royal Caribbean in Spain and France, highlighted the enormous boost that the arrival of a vessel of this type represents for tourism and for business directly linked to cruise activity, involving a full range of port services and supplies. Specifically, Belén Wangüemert said that 158,000 passengers are expected to pass through the Port of Barcelona in the vessel’s turnaround operations (start and end of the cruise), contributing 17.5 million EUR to the city’s economy.

This estimate is based on the latest study from Barcelona Tourist Board, which has calculated that cruise passengers in turnaround spend an average of 113 EUR, but this is not the only impact the Allure of the Seas will cause on the local economy. Wealth creation also includes business generated by ship supplies (food, fuel, water and all kinds of consumer products); services and port fees; the benefit in tourist terms of bringing passengers to Barcelona from all over the world; or the positive impact it has on the international image of the capital of Catalonia.

The head of Royal Caribbean in Spain has confirmed that the Allure of the Seas stands out not only for her size – equivalent to more than three football pitches or three blocks of Barcelona’s Eixample district – but because of the high level of innovation and extensive offer of facilities, which include a natural park with more than 12,000 real plants, an outdoor water amphitheatre and a pool and beach on the high seas.

Sixte Cambra pointed out that Barcelona is the only Mediterranean port with appropriate facilities to handle large-scale operations for vessels such as the Allure of the Seas, with more than 12,000 passengers embarking and disembarking daily (6,300 in each operation). To ensure that these run smoothly and efficiently, Terminals B and C, managed by Creuers del Port de Barcelona (Port of Barcelona Cruises) and located on Adossat wharf, will provide service to the Royal Caribbean vessel simultaneously.

Mr Cambra stressed that Barcelona is well prepared to host these operations thanks to infrastructure investments valued at over 100 million EUR undertaken in recent years by the Port and private operators, but also thanks to the professionalism of the Port Community and all the stakeholders associated with the cruise industry in the city. “The international terminals run by Port of Barcelona Cruises are especially functional and have been designed to suit the needs of the market in terms of the size and capacity of ships. Therefore we are well equipped to handle large-scale embarking and disembarking operations with the highest levels of safety, security and efficiency,” he added.

This year, the busiest day in passenger terms will be 18 May, with the arrival of 31,534 tourists at the Port. The busiest weekend for passenger arrivals will be from 12 and 14 September, with more than 57,700 tourists arriving in Barcelona.

Last year, the Port of Barcelona received a total of 2.6 million passengers, an increase of 8% year on year and equal to the record high of 2011. Nearly 60% of passengers were in turnaround, in other words they began and/or ended their journey in the city. Passengers in this mode contribute the most to the local economy, since they spend more in the city, mainly in hotels, restaurants, shops and transport.

The Allure of the Seas is scheduled to arrive in Barcelona in May 2015, and will operate there until mid-October. During that time, she will make one short cruise and 22 seven-night circuits with itineraries that will include visits to the ports of Palma de Mallorca, Marseille, La Spezia (Florence- Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome) and Naples. In addition she will also make two transatlantic trips, at the beginning and end of the season.

Royal Caribbean has been operating at the Port of Barcelona since 1996, when the company brought its Splendour of the Seas cruise ship here. Ms Wangüemert pointed out that vessels from the Royal Caribbean fleet have been based in the city or have made stopovers there for 18 years: “The arrival of the Oasis and Allure of the Seas confirms Royal Caribbean’s commitment to Barcelona, which has established its role as a key port for our company.”

A major accident was averted as a Jet Airways plane slipped off the runway while landing at Indore Airport on Saturday, sources said. All the passengers were safe.

According to sources, it was raining as the Jet flight from Delhi landed and slipped off into the unpaved area. There was panic among passengers as the plane suddenly lurched but no one among them was injured

Attempts were made to contact officials of the Airport Authority of India but they refused to comment on the incident.
